My life’s passion is high end complex, and intriguing Interior Design on a wide variety of projects ranging from Custom Residential, Hotel, Bar, and Restaurant Hospitality projects to elaborate World Class Resort and Casino work for MGM-Mirage, Ameristar, and Station Casinos.  I am a former Disney Imagineer as a Principal Interior Designer and have done more than a decade of design work in Theme Park projects for the Walt Disney Imagineering at their Parks around the world including Disneyland, Disneyworld, Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Hong Kong and main entry venues of the Shanghai Disneyland in the People’s Republic of China.  My work spans the range from initial concept design and client meetings to Revit and AutoCAD design development to Construction Administration.

 

I am an expert in architecturally coordinated construction documents, can resolve clashes on models and have done on-site construction administration on most of my projects and complete project close out on BIM360 and Bluebeam Revu.  I am highly proficient in Revit for both intricate family creation as well as entire construction document sets and product specifications books.  Meeting difficult deadlines with quality documentation is a specialty in all my work.

 

My careers at Walt Disney Imagineering and MGM Design Studio have given me the ability to navigate and successfully deliver projects of the highest levels of creative design and intent.  I love the hard work of breaking down complex designs into manageable pieces that are both understandable to city and county building and health departments as well as constructability by the project’s build team.  I understand that designs are not good unless they can be communicated clearly using best practices and constant coordination with consulting engineers and project management.
